Coming soon · winter break 2027

Winter-break camps on ice

We are thinking about winter day camps on the ice — skating with an instructor every day, games and full-day care. Before we launch, we want to know how many children would join. Leave your contact and you will be the first to know if sign-ups open.

How we teach

Technique and fun in one

On the ice everything starts with a confident stance and falling safely. Only on that foundation do we build skating forwards, stopping, turning, skating backwards and crossovers.

We teach in small steps — every drill has a clear goal and progress shows from the very first class. The same school that teaches skiing (Górka Szczęśliwicka) and inline skating (Zone4Rollin) now invites you onto the ice.

Classes for adults

Never skated before? Great — we will start from zero, at a pace that suits you.

No pressure: first we teach getting up and falling safely, then step by step you let go of the boards.

For everyone: the instructor sets the pace — what matters is your comfort, not your age or fitness.

Skating for adults

Classes for children

Children learn fastest through play — so we mix technical drills with games and challenges on the ice.

  • Safety first: a helmet on the head, gloves on the hands and learning to fall from the very first class.
  • From basics to figure skating: kids who catch the bug can move on to the figure-skating group.

What to bring on the ice

  • Skates — your own or rented at the rink.
  • A helmet — mandatory for children (ski or bike helmet), recommended for adults.
  • Gloves and warm, comfortable layers.
  • Thin socks — one pair; thick ones make the boot fit worse.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

From what age can children learn to ice skate?

Children usually start at around 4 — by then they stand steadily and love playing on the ice. We teach adults at any age. Not sure if your child is ready? Call us and we will advise.

Do I need my own skates?

No. To begin with, rental skates from the rink are enough. If you are thinking of buying, the instructor will tell you what to look for — above all a well-fitting boot and sharp blades.

Is a helmet mandatory?

For children, yes — at Zone4Skating classes children skate in a helmet (a ski or bike helmet works). We recommend a helmet for adults too, especially in the first classes.

Private lesson or group classes?

A private lesson is the fastest start with the instructor’s full attention — great for first steps, for adults and for specific goals. Group classes mean regular training with peers and group motivation. We often combine the two: a few lessons to start, then a group.

Where do the classes take place?

At ice rinks in Warsaw — the 2026/2027 season starts in December. We confirm the exact rink and class times individually when you sign up.

How do I sign up?

Fill in the request form on this page or call +48 666 832 222. We will call back and arrange the details — group, time and what to bring.

Off-season

Inline skating in summer

Ice skating and inline skating are close relatives — balance, edge work and stance carry over from ice to asphalt and back. When the rinks close, join our inline-skating school.
